Variational Bayesian Approximations for Nonlinear Inverse Problems
Abstract:
Bayesian formulations represent one of the prominent approaches for addressing problems of model calibration. Existing Bayesian methodologies are hampered by the high-dimensionality of unknown model parameters and the high computational cost for inference.
