Title:
A Self-Complementary Fractal Antenna with Broad Bandwidth
Abstract:
A novel broadband antenna based on self-complementary and fractal theories is presented. The radiation structure is composed of a Sierpinski shaped conductor patch and a complementary one with slot, which is fed by a linearly trapezoidal feed balun. Simulation results show that the antenna has 41% bandwidth from 5.3 GHz to 8.0 GHz, and the peak gain can reach 3.18 dBi. The antenna has the advantages of broadband and miniaturization, so it has a good application prospect.
