Abstract:
This study develops a chance--constrained open--loop optimal control (CC--OC) framework capable of handling rare event probabilities. Therefore, the framework uses the generalized polynomial chaos (gPC) method to calculate the probability of fulfilling rare event constraints under uncertainties.
