Non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) is the most common malignancy of the light-skinned population with an enormous socioeconomic impact. Historically known as incurable under the term noli me tangere (transl. do not touch me), today various non-melanocytic cutaneous neoplasms are grouped as NMSC.
