With three essays, this dissertation provides new insights into the economics and future development of vehicle-to-grid (V2G) business models. The term V2G captures the concept that electric vehicles (EVs) provide energy services while connected to the grid. The first essay discusses how contract parameters between aggregators and EV owners influence the profitability of the concept. Diese Dissertation analysiert im Rahmen von drei Aufsätzen die Wirtschaftlichkeit und zukünftige Entwicklung von Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) Geschäftsmodellen. Der Begriff V2G steht dabei für ein Konzept, in dem Elektrofahrzeuge zur Bereitstellung von Energiedienstleistungen genutzt werden. Der erste Aufsatz untersucht, wie Vertragsparameter zwischen Aggregatoren und Elektrofahrzeugbesitzern die Profitabilität des Konzeptes beeinflussen. Der zweite Aufsatz entwickelt eine Handelsstrategie an Spotmärkten, um die Wirtschaftlichkeit von V2G zu verbessern.
