During production of thermal water, the physical conditions are changed compared to the equilibrium conditions in the reservoir. This can cause degassing and, thereby, precipitation of mineral species. Within the scope of this work, the temporal development of the water-dissolved gases, the gas composition in the annulus and the occurence of desorbed gases during commissioning of a pump was investigated. Furthermore, the formation process of deposits, as well as their effect on the fluid dynamics, was examined.
