CNS axons globally increase axonal transport after peripheral conditioning.
Abstract:
Despite the inability of CNS axons to regenerate, an increased regenerative capacity can be elicited following conditioning lesion to the peripheral branch of dorsal root ganglia neurons (DRGs).
