Abstract:
Drug hypersensitivity reactions (DHRs) may be caused by immunologic and non-immunologic mechanisms. According to the World Allergy Organization, drug allergy (DA) encompasses the subgroup of immunologic DHRs which are mediated either by specific antibodies or specific T lymphocytes.
