In this thesis the influence of adding an organic stripping component which is immiscible with water to the desorber of a CO
2 Post-Combustion-Capture process is examined. For that purpose a model for a three-phase equilibrium was developed. Moreover, a power plant model was set up in order to investigate the overall performance of a coal fired power plant with Post-Combustion-Capture of CO
2. The results however show that the overall penalty for power plant including CO
2-removal is lower for the conventional two-phase regeneration.
