Abstract:
Multi-Spectral Optoacoustic Tomography (MSOT) merges the power of high-resolution imaging at tissue depths of several millimeters to centimeters with the advantages of optical imaging, in large part by exploiting spectral detection of endogenous molecules in tissue or exogenous photoabsorbing probes.
