In my thesis, several approaches to facilitate the analysis of chemical genetic assays have been proposed. An optimal method to retrieve chemical hits from high-throughput assays was introduced, and a target prediction method was developed to predict the drug targets for the hits. Next, an efficient filtering protocol was proposed to remove the promiscuous compounds. Lastly, the integration of the assays was presented as a valuable tool to find relationships between biological activities, to understand better the molecular mechanisms of the chemical hits, and to relate drug targets to phenotypes.
