Abstract:
The following article emphasizes that unconscious processes play an enormous role in design. This will be shown for the finding of new concepts, products, ideas, as well as for the intuitive feeling on the soundness of known products. The cognitive economy resulting from limitations of our brain is a central thread and one basis for design methodology.
