- Die Zunahme pollenbasierter Allergien ist eine der wahrscheinlichsten Folgen des rezenten Klimawandels. Industrialisierte Länder sind bereits seit Jahrzehnten von einem weltweiten Anstieg allergischer Erkrankungen betroffen. Mit Hilfe von langen und räumlich extensiven Zeitreihen von Blühterminen und atmosphärischen Pollenmessungen wurden die Veränderungen in Bezug auf allergene Pflanzen untersucht. - Translated abstract:
- An increase in pollen allergies is one of the most anticipated consequences of climate change. A global increase of allergic diseases has already affected the industrialized world over the last decades. By means of flowering dates and pollen data, observed changes in allergenic plants at large temporal and geographical scale have been assessed. Among the main results, a lengthening of the pollen season and an unequivocal increase in airborne pollen levels have been detected all over Europe.
