Description:
The dataset represents patches of architectural floor plans and is divided into the three case studies and data sources, such as hand-drawn, CAD-based and BIM-based floor plans. For every data source, there are two folders, one for the original patch image and one for the corresponding labeled mask. In each of these two folders, both images have the same name following the data source abbreviation (BIM, CAD, Hand-drawn) and the same UUID.
The masks represent ten different material classes, such as reinforced concrete (1), unreinforced concrete (2), precast concrete (3), masonry (4), slit (5), XPS insulation (6), hard insulation (7), soft insulation (CAD) (8), soft insulation (hand-drawn) (9), and no material - background (10).
These masks are then exported, ensuring they match the original drawing dimensions. Subsequently, both the initial images and their corresponding masks are divided into 224x224 pixel segments.
Method of data assessment:
The material classes are defined as masks using GIMP software. These masks are then exported, ensuring they match the original drawing dimensions. Subsequently, both the initial images and their corresponding masks are divided into 224x224 pixel segments. After producing the patches the data sets shall be divided into three sets, such as training (80\%), validation (10\%), and testing (10\%) for the three data sources of hand-drawn drawings and those based on CAD and BIM. The images are randomly...     »
