Abstract: We present a methodology for the mathematical modeling of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in a catchment area in order to determine the reduction of the flood risk. The methodology is based on a literature survey that we performed to identify the main NBS that are being applied worldwide and the implemented hydrologic and hydrodynamic models that are usually 1D/2D.
