Every two years, PERI announces a competition for students. This promotes the application of the acquired theoretical knowledge. The aim is to learn or apply the interrelationships of many construction management disciplines, especially in the areas of work preparation and formwork technology. The purpose of the competition is to work out a realistic offer processing from the point of view of an executing company. The individual quotation processes that an actual company follows are worked through in a coherent manner. All steps from the initial receipt of the bidding documents to the submission of the final bid including unit prices are worked out. The result and the core of this work is the calculation of the offer sum. This is done after the addition of the individual costs of the partial services with the project overheads and the other surcharges, such as general business costs, risk and profit. As a result, the unit prices are calculated for the project and the bidding process is completed.      «
