Abstract:
AIM: Transient angiotensin II receptor blockade (ARB) leads to prolonged blood pressure (BP) lowering, but the underlying mechanism remains uncertain. Long-term BP control is regulated by the medullary microcirculation with the pericyte as contractile cell.
