Abstract:
BACKGROUND: Chronic allograft nephropathy (CAN) still belongs to the leading causes of graft loss over the long term. The leflunomide derivative FK778 is a novel immunosuppressant with improved pharmacokinetic properties that effectively prolonged graft survival in several transplantation models.
