- Abstract:
- Air pollution events at Schneefernerhaus were identified using CO2 and δ13C measurements. Potential sources were characterized by using emission ratios of CO/CO2 and CH4/CO2 as well as the Keeling plot, and source regions by backward air mass trajectories. Pollution sources were attributed to road transport and traffic related to combustion of natural gas and gasoline and transported to the site from Western and Central Europe. Local sources were from domestic heating with coal and wood.

- In dieser Arbeit wurden Luftverschmutzungsereignisse am Schneefernerhaus mit Hilfe von CO2 und δ13C Messungen identifiziert. Diese potentiellen Quellen wurden mit Emissionsverhältnissen von CO/CO2 bzw. CH4/CO2 sowie der Keeling Plot Methode charakterisiert und Quellregionen mit Luftmassenrückwärtstrajektorien bestimmt. Die Hauptquellen waren Verbrennung von Erdgas und Benzin im Straßenverkehr, die von West- und Mitteleuropa zum Standort transportiert wurden oder durch Heizen mit Kohle und Holz.
