Die vorliegende Studie evaluierte die Funktion und Integrität des M. subscapularis nach operativer Rekonstruktion von isolierten Subscapularissehnen-Rupturen im Langzeit-Follow-up. Hierfür wurden etablierte klinische Parameter und Scores erhoben, sowie eine quantitative Kraftmessung und MRT-Bildgebung (inkl. Flächen- und Durchmesserbestimmung) durchgeführt. Korrelationen mit peri- und intraoperativen Einflussfaktoren wurden überprüft. Nach >8 Jahren Follow-up zeigten sich sowohl klinisch-funktionell als auch radiologisch vielversprechende Ergebnisse, wobei die arthroskopische und offene OP-Technik als nahezu gleichwertig einzuordnen sind.     «

This study evaluated the function and integrity of the subscapularis muscle after surgical reconstruction of isolated subscapularis tendon tears in the long-term follow-up. For this purpose, established clinical parameters and scores were collected, and quantitative force measurement and MRI imaging (including surface and diameter determination) were performed. Correlations with peri- and intraoperative influencing factors were examined. After >8 years of follow-up, both clinical-functional and radiologic results were promising, whereby the arthroscopic and open surgical techniques can be classified as almost equivalent.     «
