In the present study with healthy participants (N=66) instructed to malinger cognitive deficits or to show full effort and additional patients exhibiting poor effort (PNA, n=10) less true positive decisions were made using the Aggravations- und Simulationstest (AST) than the Word Memory Test (WMT) and Amsterdamer Kurzzeitgedächtnistest (AKGT). A combination of embedded variables of the California Verbal Learning Test (CVLT) and the Testbatterie zur Aufmerksamkeitsprüfung (TAP) showed high rates of detecting malingering. Comparing the PNA with patients suffering cognitive deficits (PKB, n=12) showed that 75% of the PKB were classified as false positives by using the AST and AKGT.
