Abstract:
Alternative polyadenylation (APA) is a gene regulatory process that dictates mRNA 3'-UTR length, resulting in changes in mRNA stability and localization. APA is frequently disrupted in cancer and promotes tumorigenesis through altered expression of oncogenes and tumor suppressors.
