Abstract:
We present fully compressible simulations of spherical vapor bubble collapses in viscoelastic fluids. A density based finite volume solver with explicit time integration and different viscoelastic constitutive models is employed to show the influence of elasticity and the distinct collapse behavior obtained with different viscoelastic models.
