- Abstract:
- We modeled the hydrodynamic behaviour of the central pipeline of the combined sewerage system in the Athens Metropolitan Area in Greece using SWMM. Steady state calculations for a return period equal to 1 year showed that generally the central pipeline operates satisfactorily, when certain modifications are performed in the weir crest elevations of the seven combined sewer overflows that discharge water to Kifissos River.
