Bundle adjustment of HRSC image data using Mars Observer Laser Altimeterdata as control information. This paper presents an approach to improve the exterior orientation parameters of the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC)mounted on European Mars Express Mission. A challenge of photogrammetric processingof Mars imagery is the low number of Ground Control Points which can be identified and measured in the images in the usual way. Therefore, Mars Observer Laser Altimeter(MOLA) data is employed as control information in the bundle adjustmentof HRSC images. The concept for the photogrammet-ric point determination withthe principle of three-line camera is described and results will be given. The results show the operational use to all HRSC scenes.
