Abstract:
Epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a recognized eukaryotic cell differentiation program that is also observed in association with invasive tumors. Partial EMT program in carcinomas imparts cancer cells with mesenchymal-like features and is proposed as essential for metastasis.
