- Kurzfassung:
- We investigated conserved RNA secondary structures in the intergenic regions of ambisense viruses and questioned their evolutionary relation. Furthermore the usage of structure prediction software, trained on non-coding genetic material was tested on protein coding regions. A further investigation was on the creation of a possibly complete census of conserved RNA secondary structures in the coding regions viral mRNAs and a corresponding web resource.

- Es wurden konservierte RNA Sekundärstrukturen innerhalb intergenischer Regionen von ambisense Viren untersucht, sowie die Anwendung von strukturvorhersage Methoden, welche mit nicht kodierenden genetischen Sequenzen trainiert wurden, auf Protein kodierenden Sequenzen getestet. In einer weiteren Analyse wurde eine möglicherweise vollständige Erhebung von konservierten RNA Sekundärstrukturen in kodierenden Regionen viraler mRNAs erstellt, sowie eine dazugehörige Web Ressource.
