In the manufacturing process of car bodies made of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), steel and aluminum in combination with warm curing epoxy adhesives, stresses arise in the joints. In the present thesis, this effect, referred as delta-alpha-difficulties, is analyzed in a three-step validation of laboratory, component and car body testing. The most important variables are the coefficient of thermal expansion of the joint partners, the adhesive system as well as the manufacturing process.
