The book explains the technology, services, and applications supported by satellite InSAR data communications. The book is organized into six chapters, focusing on: the historical background on {InSAR}; satellite radar imaging; {SAR} interferometry; Multi-interferogram techniques; and oil/gas applications. Owing to the target application of the book, i.e. reservoir monitoring, a few topics are only mentioned cursorily or are missing, e.g. the use of numerical weather data for compensation of the stratified atmosphere, urban applications using very high resolution {SAR} data or {SAR} tomographic methods that allow the separation of lay-overed scatterers. Aside from these minor points the entire {InSAR} tutorial is comprehensive. This book has the potential to receive broad acceptance with geophysicists, geodesists, civil engineers and decision makers and will help further establish {InSAR} as a mature technology-one of the author's goals.     «
