Abstract:
Residual terrain modelling (RTM) plays a key role for short-scale gravity modelling in physical geodesy, e.g. for interpolation of observed gravity and augmentation of global geopotential models (GGMs). However, approximation errors encountered in RTM computation schemes are little investigated.
