Abstract:
FSIM model is an individual-based model (IBM) that combines (1) a framework to specify the
hydrodynamic conditions, (2) a framework to define the sensory perception and movement
trajectories of individual fish, and (3) a framework to govern the behaviour decisions of
individuals. The fish appearance and movement model is based on choosing suitable behaviours
in a sensory avoid and motivational data. The calculated results produced effective fish
movements in a pathway.
