In einer prospektiven Beobachtungsstudie wurde erfasst, inwiefern ausgewählte Lehrveranstaltungen aus dem Bereich Ultraschall das Kompetenzprofil der Studierenden an der Fakultät für Medizin der TUM beeinflussen. Es konnte gezeigt werden, dass das aktuelle Ausbildungskonzept den Studierenden die wichtigsten theoretischen Grundlagen nachhaltig vermittelt und besonders motivierten Studierenden durch seine fakultative Komponente die Möglichkeit zum Erlernen praktischer Fertigkeiten bietet. Die Ergebnisse dienen dabei als Grundlage für eine Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung des Ausbildungskonzepts.     «

The objective of this prospective observational study was to examine the influence of selected ultrasound courses on the competence profile of the students of the Faculty of Medicine at the TUM. It could be shown that the current education concept sustainably teaches students the most important theoretical principles and that particularly motivated students have the opportunity to acquire practical skills through additional optional courses. The results serve as a basis for the optimization and further development of the education concept.     «
