- Abstract:
- Within this work a novel approach for processing surface electromyographic data is presented. It makes use of the crosstalk and the application of a high number of surface electromyographic electrodes to reconstruct the three dimensional generating electrical potential distribution within a given area. This method is called iEMG as derived from imaging electromyography to emphasize the result: an image of the generating potential distribution gained by a medical imaging method.

- In dieser Arbeit wird ein neuartiger Ansatz zur Verarbeitung oberflächenmyografischer Signale präsentiert. Dieser Ansatz nutzt das Übersprechen zusammen mit einer Vielzahl von Oberflächenelektroden, um daraus eine dreidimensionale Verteilung der zugrunde liegenden Muskelpotentiale zu rekonstruieren. Diese Methode wird iEMG genannt, abgeleitet von „bildgebendes EMG“ (engl.: imaging EMG), um das Ergebnis zu unterstreichen: ein intuitiv verständliches 3D-Bild der zugrunde liegenden Potentiale.
