The study analyzes the influence of Out-of-home care in the childhood on symptoms and the actual active lifestyle of patients visiting a trauma clinic. In a retrospective cross-sectional study, two patient groups (with and without Out-of-home-care) have been questioned with standardized questionnaires regarding their psychosomatic comorbidities and their actual way of living. There were no significant differences between the two groups regarding the psychosomatic comorbidities. Significant differences could be observed with respect to de actual way of living, in particular concerning education.
