Abstract:
PURPOSE: Childhood Philadelphia chromosome positive (Ph(+)) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) has a poor prognosis. Because leukemia cell burden is reduced but not eradicated by polychemotherapy, improved treatment strategies should enhance those immune mechanisms responsible for the maintenance of complete remission.
