Abstract:
The aggressive fast-growing osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant bone tumor. The relevance of estrogen as a key player in bone metabolism and bone tumor is well-known. At the molecular level, estrogen activates the estrogen receptor ? (ER?) as a natural ligand of this receptor.
