Abstract:
Patients with type 2 diabetes and nephropathy have high cardiorenal morbidity and mortality despite optimum treatment including angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). Residual risk is related to residual albuminuria.
