Abstract:
The city of Utrecht in the Netherlands has high ambitions in realizing locally produced renewable energy, especially using photovoltaic (PV) solar energy panels. By the year 2030, the Utrecht Central Station district aims to be energy neutral. The present contribution describes two developed methods for the simulation of solar potential.
