A better understanding of complex fluid-thermo-structure interaction is essential for the design of rocket nozzeles. One important ingredient is a computational approach for the analysis of thermo-structure-coupled dynamics of thin-walled structures at elevated temperatures. The presented thermo-structure interaction approach is based on seperate discretisations of the structural and thermal fields. The discretisation is carried out with conforming finite elements and explicit time integration. A visco-plastic material, models the structure. Characteristics of different explicit time integration schemas are studied.
