On the {{Identification}} of {{Fermi}}-{{Liquid Behavior}} in {{Simple Transition Metal Compounds}}
Abstract:
The status of Fermi liquid behavior in weakly magnetic transition metal compounds is reviewed. Single-crystals of the weak itinerant ferromagnets ZrZn2, Ni3Al, and YNi3 display a non-Fermi liquid (NFL) temperature dependence of the resistivity consistent with an inhomogenous ferromagnetic state. But at high-magnetic fields they exhibit quantum oscillations of a Fermi liquid ground state.
