Modeling the Earth's gravity field in a broad spectral domain needs observations from various measurement techniques with different spectral sensitivities. To exploit the gravitational information of low-resolution global satellite observations and especially of high-resolution terrestrial, air- and shipborne gravity data, a regional modeling approach is established using radial spherical basis functions. A multi-resolution composition enables to flexibly combine the data sets depending on their spectral sensitivity.
