The research project focuses on structuring-measures for cost-optimization of the automotive e/e product structure, as a contribution to master complexity/variety and manage innovation-/cost-pressure in the e/e development. In order to structure the e/e system, an optimizing-model for e/e function partitioning in an automotive e/e system-architecture has been developed. Following a reference model for architecture-driven e/e modular construction set development is designed in order to optimize the product structure on subsystem-level.
