Abstract:
This talk discusses the development of a new fixed grid fluid-structure inter- action scheme that can be applied to real world problems of the 3-dimensional interaction of most general structures exhibiting large deformations with incompressible flow. The new scheme stands out by some superior characteristics as compared to existing fixed- grid approaches.
