This work deals with the highly dynamic variation of the gaze direction of technical camera systems. In general two different applications will be considered: firstly, inertial stabilized and movable cameras for the realization of image processing driver assistance systems, and secondly, wearable head camera systems that are moved by the eye motion of the user. The common basis of these two applications is the partly imitation of the human eye motion. To solve the motion tasks different approaches of gaze control are presented and discussed. Concepts and construction will be looked at as well as motion control topics. The systems are presented in concrete applications and the results are shown.
