This prospective study examines quality of life, self-esteem, and emotional stability in patients with chronic lymphedema who underwent an (autologous) vascularized lymph node transplantation (VLNT) at Klinikum rechts der Isar (TUM) between June 2013 and December 2017. A self-developed indication-specific questionnaire as well as standardized and validated questionnaires (PHQ-4, FLZM, FPI-R, RSES, FLQA-te, FLQA-b, FLQA-k, FLQA-l) were used for this purpose. If norm data were available, a comparison was made. In addition, a self-designed questionnaire was used to evaluate the impairment of the donor extremity and the lymphedematous extremity after VLNT.
