We examine the correlation between photorating, which is done by plastic surgeons, the subjective rating of probands and objective measurement methodes. The subjective life quality of the probands was raised based on the FLZ-M. In this study the breast region was measured with a 3-D surface scanner and then the scans were to measure the distance, volume and symmetry between defined landmarks. A surgical indication cannot just be made with measuring the distance, volume and symmetry of the breast region. Moreover it is important to find a consensus between 3-D measurements, photorating, and patients' subjective life satisfaction.
