The thesis investigates the problem of signal parameter estimation with 1-bit ADC. To this end, in the context of different wireless applications the achievable accuracy for 1-bit ADC systems with optimum processing algorithms is determined by estimation-theoretic information measures. In particular, the performance gap with respect to ideal receivers is characterized for the problem of state-space estimation, estimation with unknown quantization offset and inference with correlated noise models.
