Increasing output figures and shortened innovation cycles are examples for ascending environmental problems. Consequently, new demands for the integrated product development arise. The holistic foresight and analysis of trends allow to use the changing requirements for the design. When simple adaptations are made to a product, several cycles of use will be possible.
