Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit Wissenschaftskommunikation aus Sicht der Wissenschaftler auf einer individuellen Betrachtungsebene. Sie untersucht Vorstellungen, Motive und Umwelt der Wissenschaftler und ihr Kommunikationsverhalten. Im Fokus der Betrachtung liegen beispielhaft Forstwissenschaftler. Daten wurden mit Interviews und Befragungen erhoben. Auf Basis dieser Daten werden Vorstellungen, Motive und relevante Teile der individuellen Umwelt der Forscher qualifiziert und quantifiziert. Kommunikationsstile werden klassifiziert und Zusammenhänge mit den anderen beschriebenen Aspekten betrachtet.     «

The present study is about science communication from scientists’ perspective on an individual level. It analyzes perceptions, motives and the environment of scientists and their communicational behavior. The study focuses on forest scientists as an example for scientists in general. Interviews and surveys were used to collect data. This data is used to qualify and quantify perceptions, motives and relevant parts of the scientists’ environments. Communicational styles are classified and their correlations to the other described aspects are analyzed.     «
