This thesis investigates the impact of transport accessibility on innovation and entrepreneurship. Results show better accessibility show more regional innovation activities. In dieser Arbeit werden die Auswirkungen lokaler Erreichbarkeit auf Innovation und Entrepreneurship untersucht. Die Ergebnisse zeigen einerseits, dass eine bessere Erreichbarkeit zu mehr regionalen Innovationsaktivitäten führt. Die Arbeit zeigt auch, dass die Verkehrsanbindung aufgrund der Verfügbarkeit qualifizierter Arbeitskräfte und niedrigerer Transportkosten für Unternehmensgründungen wichtig ist.
